Análisis Cuasiestático en Condiciones de Impacto Lateral en una Llanta Delantera de Kart Mediante el Método de Elementos Finitos

Abstract

El presente proyecto investigativo tiene como objetivo el análisis del comportamiento estructural de la llanta delantera de un kart ante impactos laterales en condiciones cuasiestáticas que se pueden presentar durante una competencia, utilizando el método de elementos finitos (FEM) con la ayuda del programa computacional Autodesk Inventor. El estudio inicia con la recopilación de información técnica sobre las propiedades mecánicas de su material como lo es el aluminio 6061, el mismo que se lo selecciona por su resistencia, peso reducido y buena capacidad de absorción de impactos.
