Abstract

Esta tesis aborda la problemática del déficit de infraestructura educativa adecuada en contextos rurales del Ecuador, enfocándose en la comunidad de Las Pampas, en el Cantón Mejía. Las condiciones espaciales actuales y la limitada relación entre el espacio educativo, la comunidad y el entorno natural afectan la calidad del proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Current spatial conditions and the limited connection between the educational space, the community, and the natural environment negatively impact the quality of the teaching and learning process.In response to this situation, a preliminary architectural design for a sustainable rural educational center is proposed, based on the principles of the Livingston Method, which promotes active learning, spatial flexibility, and integration with nature.
