dc.description.abstractSpeech Emotion Recognition (SER) has increasingly positioned itself as an important topic within affective computing, mainly because of its potential to improve human–computer interaction in areas such as education [10, 12], healthcare [14, 15], virtual reality (VR) [11], and socially assistive technologies [16]. By examining vocal elements like intonation, prosodic patterns, speech rate, and other acoustic variations, SER systems can estimate a speaker’s emotional state automatically [10, 14]. This opens the door to more adaptive systems and richer user experiences.es
