Centro de monitoreo y protección ecológica de la biósfera del Choco Andino en Nono

Abstract

La tesis se enfoca en el “Centro de Monitoreo y Protección de la Biosfera del Chocó Andino” en Nono, parroquia rural de Quito. Esta reserva, ubicada en Pichincha y reconocida por la UNESCO, es esencial para la conservación de especies endémicas. Nono, con 2152 habitantes, enfrenta problemas ambientales como minería ilegal, falta de tratamiento de aguas residuales, tráfico de especies y deforestación. El proyecto propone un centro de monitoreo para proteger la biodiversidad local mediante la supervisión en tiempo real, análisis y control de actividades, y reducción de impactos ambientales. La tesis subraya la falta de coordinación gubernamental y la necesidad de gestión efectiva para preservar el entorno natural y garantizar el desarrollo sostenible. Los objetivos incluyen diseñar el centro, resaltar la importancia de la protección silvestre, analizar la problemática del Chocó Andino y poder mejorar el tráfico animal. El proyecto integra análisis literarios, investigaciones de campo y mapeos detallados, considerando normativas arquitectónicas y urbanísticas para crear estructuras sostenibles que minimicen el impacto ambiental. Además, enfatiza la reforestación, preservación de especies y reducción de emisiones contaminantes. The thesis focuses on the “Center for Monitoring and Protection of the Chocó Andino Biosphere” in Nono, a rural parish of Quito. The project integrates literary analysis, field research and detailed mapping, considering architectural and urban regulations to create sustainable structures that minimize environmental impact.
