Impacto en la estructura de capital en un consultorio cardiológico del Distrito Metropolitano de Quito, en base a las diferentes alternativas de financiamiento, año 2023-2024

Abstract

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo determinar el impacto en la estructura de capital de un consultorio cardiológico ubicado en la ciudad de Quito. Para este análisis, inicialmente se identificaron varias alternativas de financiamiento externo con el objetivo de que el consultorio pueda realizar las mejoras y ampliaciones necesarias en el equipamiento médico y que a su vez se encamine al incremento de su capacidad de atención a clientes y dar cumplimiento con estándares actuales de calidad. Ante la necesidad de expansión del consultorio, se evaluaron varias opciones de financiamiento externo como: créditos bancarios, créditos de cooperativas de ahorro y crédito,así como inversiones de capital privado. Se analizaron en detalle los costos financieros directos de cada alternativa, tasas de interés, plazos, sistema de amortización y requerimiento de garantías. Por otra parte, también se revisaron alternativas de financiamiento que no son muy comunes y frecuentes en la ciudad de Quito, sin embargo, podrían ser interesantes en el caso de que a futuro existan instituciones con quienes se pueda acceder a estos tipos de financiamiento (leasing financiero y capital semilla para negocios en marcha). The objective of this study is to determine the impact on the capital structure of a cardiology office located in the city of Quito. For this analysis, initially several external financing alternatives were identified with the objective that the office can make the necessary improvements and expansions in the medical equipment and that in turn translate into increasing its capacity to serve clients and comply with current quality standards. Given the need to expand the practice, several external financing options were evaluated, such as: bank loans, loans from savings and credit cooperatives, as well as private capital investments. The direct financial costs of each alternative, interest rates, terms, amortization system and requirement for guarantees were analyzed in detail. On the other hand, financing alternatives that are not very common and frequent in the city of Quito were also reviewed, however, they could be interesting in the event that in the future there are institutions with which these types of financing can be accessed (leasing financial and seed capital for start-up businesses).
