Informe de ciberseguridad para el diseño de un sistema de banca digital

Abstract

La revolución tecnológica, ha alcanzado a todo tipo de industria, en especial a la industria financiera, enfocada hacia las entidades públicas y privadas que manejan capital económico. De esto se desprende, que al adoptar las nuevas tecnologías en los procesos que antes eran gestionados físicamente, ahora se hagan a través del uso de aplicaciones web y móviles. Con este antecedente, los sistemas financieros han tenido que desarrollar canales de intercambio de información de forma remota, y esta debe ser segura y confiable, es por ello que, las transacciones y servicios bancarios se ven orientados hacia la digitalización. Con el crecimiento que ha tenido la banca digital, se busca mejorar la protección de los servicios financieros, las transacciones de los usuarios y garantizar la seguridad de los datos, con el fin de mantener la confidencialidad, integridad y disponibilidad de los servicios. En base a la infraestructura On-Premise y Cloud que dispone la entidad financiera se realizó recomendaciones de seguridad, se recopilaron datos y se analizaron los resultados utilizando herramientas para poder identificar las vulnerabilidades del código fuente y APK con el objetivo de presentar los resultados identificados y planes de mitigación en el informe de ciberseguridad. Por lo tanto, se concluye que el informe de ciberseguridad presenta recomendaciones a la institución financiera producto de las vulnerabilidades identificadas en el sistema de banca digital con el fin de mitigar los riesgos, mejorar la protección de los servicios y mantener la confianza de los usuarios. The technological revolution has reached all types of industry, especially the financial industry focused on public and private entities that manage economic capital. It follows that by adopting new technologies in the processes that were previously managed physically, are now done through the use of web and mobile applications. With this background, financial systems have had to develop remote information exchange channels, and this information must be secure and reliable, which is why banking transactions and services are oriented towards digitization. With the growth of digital banking, the aim is to improve the protection of financial services, user transactions and ensure data security in order to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of services. Based on the On-Premise and Cloud infrastructure available to the financial institution, security recommendations were made, data was collected and the results were analyzed using tools to identify vulnerabilities in the source code and APK in order to present the results identified and mitigation plans in the cybersecurity report. Therefore, it is concluded that the cybersecurity report presents recommendations to the financial institution resulting from the vulnerabilities identified in the digital banking system in order to mitigate risks, improve the protection of services and maintain user confidence.
