Percepción de la funcionalidad y grado de satisfacción del individuo respecto de su entorno familiar y la posible relación con la sintomatología depresiva en adolescentes

Abstract

La adolescencia es una etapa crítica para la aparición de la depresión. Autores como Rice (2000), señalan la importancia de analizar los problemas de los adolescentes tomando en cuenta la influencia de los principales contextos en donde se desarrollan, entre los que destacan aquellos entornos con los que tiene un contacto inmediato, principalmente familia, amigos y escuela (Urquizo Barahona & Vela Peralta, 2017). Es por eso que el objetivo de la presente investigación es determinar la relación que existe entre la percepción de la funcionalidad y grado de satisfacción familiar del adolescente con la sintomatología depresiva, con el fin de dar a conocer estos datos al “Colegio Municipal Fernández Madrid” para generar estrategias de intervención. Para el desarrollo de esta investigación se incluyeron 615 estudiantes, de los cuales 339 fueron mujeres y 276 fueron hombres, con edad promedio de 16 años. Para evaluar las variables se utilizaron los siguientes test: Cuestionario de Funcionamiento Familiar (FF- SIL), Escala de Satisfacción Familiar por Adjetivos (ESFA) e Inventario de Depresión de Beck (BDI-II)....

Adolescence is a critical stage for the onset of depression, before which authors like Rice (2000), point out the importance of analyzing the problems of adolescents taking into account the influence of the main contexts in which they develop, among that they emphasize those surroundings with which it has an immediate contact, mainly the family, friends and the school.
