Diseño de un sistema de gestión tutorial educativo formalizado vía servicio de mensajes cortos (sms), para vendedores informales de Quito, como factor de inclusión social

Abstract

El propender el desarrollo humano de los habitantes de una nación, es un factor muy importante para lograr la mejora de la calidad de vida de sus habitantes. Este aspecto tiene especial preponderancia, sobre todo de los sectores más desprotegidos del Ecuador, considerando que un escenario económico difícil en un país, da como resultado la reducción de fuentes de trabajo, y hace que las personas, muchas veces trabajen fuera del marco legal. Es indispensable entonces, la creación de oportunidades para el sector informal y así evitar que este grupo humano se vea expuesto en las calles a una serie de peligros y a que sus derechos puedan ser vulnerados. El desarrollo de las TIC’s, permite en la actualidad utilizar sistemas de educación que de manera asincrónica logren transmitir el conocimiento a individuos que por el factor tiempo y recursos escasos les es difícil asistir a sistemas educativos presenciales. En este caso el celular y los mensajes de texto son herramientas óptimas para dicho fin. Este sistema educativo formalizado aunado a tutorías quincenales tendría como objetivo el impulsar un cambio en este grupo humano, permitiéndoles obtener conocimientos relacionados con su trabajo diario, lo cual les brindaría la oportunidad de salir de la informalidad...

To promote the human development of the inhabitants of a nation, is a very important factor to achieve the improvement of the quality of life of its inhabitants. This aspect has a special preponderance, especially of the most unprotected sectors of Ecuador, considering that a difficult economic scenario in a country, results in the reduction of labor sources, and makes people often work outside the legal framework. It is essential, therefore, to create opportunities for the informal sector and thus prevent this human group from being exposed on the streets to a series of dangers and their rights may be violated. The development of ICTs nowadays allows the use of education systems that asynchronously manage to transmit knowledge to individuals who, due to the time and scarce resources, find it difficult to attend educational systems. In this case the cell phone and the text messages are optimal tools for this purpose. This formalized educational system coupled with biweekly tutorials would aim to promote a change in this human group, allowing them to obtain knowledge related to their daily work, which would give them the opportunity to get out of the informality...
