Abstract: Based on the technical specifications mentioned in the previous section, several alter natives will be analyzed to meet the requirements. For the part manufacturing process in this project, various part machining options have been considered, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. These options are described in detail below. Laser cutting steel is a highly precise and efficient manufacturing process that involves the use of a high-powered laser beam to cut or engrave sheets of steel. This technique offers several advantages, such as high cutting precision, the ability to handle parts with intricate geometries, and fast cutting speed. Additionally, laser cutting requires no physical tools, reducing tool wear and minimizing the risk of cross-contamination be tween materials. However, disadvantages include higher initial costs due to the need for a laser machine and less ability to cut extremely thick materials...
