Abstract

El proyecto de investigación para la obtención del título de Licenciado de Negocios Internacionales se centra en el diseño de un plan de negocio para la creación de un "Freight Forward" especializado en embarques marítimos hacia la costa este de Estados Unidos. Este proyecto tiene un enfoque particular en la gestión de cargas frescas abandonadas, específicamente de banano. Propone operar como agente de carga en Ecuador y Estados Unidos, con oficinas en Newark, New Jersey, y Guayaquil, Ecuador. Su objetivo general es diseñar un negocio viable y rentable, que aborde la problemática de las cargas frescas abandonadas y optimice la eficiencia operativa. Los objetivos específicos del proyecto incluyen evaluar la problemática de las cargas frescas abandonadas, investigar el marco legal necesario para operar en ambos países, establecer la misión, visión, valores y estructura organizacional del Freight Forward, y realizar un análisis financiero detallado para determinar la rentabilidad y viabilidad del proyecto. Este enfoque integral asegura una comprensión profunda de todos los aspectos relevantes para la creación exitosa de la empresa. Las conclusiones del proyecto reflejan el cumplimiento de sus objetivos. Se ha diseñado un plan de negocio que abarca aspectos operativos, financieros y legales, preparando el terreno para la apertura de oficinas en Newark y Guayaquil. El estudio detallado de la gestión de cargas frescas abandonadas, en particular el banano, subraya la necesidad de una solución especializada, resaltando la relevancia social y los desafíos profesionales que justifican la creación de un Freight Forward especializado. En síntesis, la investigación demuestra que la creación de un Freight forward especializado en la gestión de cargas frescas abandonadas, con operaciones en EE. UU. y Ecuador, es no solo viable sino también potencialmente muy rentable y socialmente beneficiosa. Este proyecto sienta las bases para una operación eficiente que no solo aborda un problema logístico significativo, sino que también ofrece una solución innovadora y sostenible en el campo del transporte marítimo internacional y la logística de productos frescos. This comprehensive approach ensures a deep understanding of all aspects relevant to the successful creation of the company. The conclusions of the project reflect the fulfillment of its objectives. A business plan has been designed that covers operational, financial, and legal aspects, preparing the ground for the opening of offices in Newark and Guayaquil. The detailed study of the management of abandoned fresh cargoes, in particular bananas, underlines the need for a specialized solution, highlighting the social relevance and professional challenges that justify the creation of a specialized Freight Forwarder. In summary, the research demonstrates that the creation of a Freight Forwarder specialized in the management of fresh abandoned cargo, with operations in the US and Ecuador, is not only viable but also potentially very profitable and socially beneficial. This project lays the foundation for an efficient operation that not only addresses a significant logistics problem but also offers an innovative and sustainable solution in the field of international shipping and fresh produce logistics.
