Abstract: The present document covers the design, implementation and build of prototype of an apple classification machines. The machine segregates the fruits based on their width. The paper describes the process for develop and tune an artificial vision agent, capable of measuring apples through an USB camera. In the mechanical component of the project, is presented the design and calculation of a robust structure machine capable of handling the whole apple classification system. The project face challenges in the artificial vision algorithm due to the effect of light room in apple analysis. Test are carried out, testing the accuracy and effectiveness of the whole classification system performance.
