Abstract

El Off – Road es un término inglés que significa transitar fuera de carretera, o caminos donde no hay vías transitables, es un deporte que tiene un sin número de variantes, al ser vehículos todo terreno o fuera de camino se necesita ir copiando las irregularidades del terreno, compensar con el vehículo la falta de adherencia en lugares fangosos, permitiendo la marcha pese las inclemencias del terreno, para el efecto los vehículos de fábrica toman como referencias características fuera de camino manteniendo el confort, la durabilidad y prestaciones para condiciones no muy severas, las condiciones de un off road hace que las características constructivas sean mucho más agresivas para su mejor desempeño en condiciones muy severas.
