Tratamiento periodontal de paciente con periodontitis crónica localizada severa modificada por la ingesta de bloqueadores de canales de calcio, reporte de un caso

Abstract

Para esto se efectuó mediante el método clínico, observacional y longitudinal prospectivo; la terapia básica periodontal que incluye motivación y fisioterapia oral, raspado y alisado radicular de los cuatro cuadrantes, evaluación un mes después, remisiones a las distintas especialidades y terapias de mantenimiento. Paciente masculino de 38 años de edad, que acudió a la clínica de la UIDE en el año 2017 por presentar sangrado de encías movilidad dental y problemas estéticos. Al examen clínico oral se evidenció la presencia de biofilm y calculo dental, agrandamiento gingival, presencia de bolsas y pseudobolsas, movilidad dentaria, y sangrado al sondaje....
