Abstract

Con el propósito de solucionar el déficit de infraestructura habitable en la comunidad El Kiim, localizada en la provincia de Zamora Chinchipe, el Miduvi (Ministerio de Desarrollo Urbano y Vivienda de Ecuador) construyó 20 casas en 1996 y otras 12 en 2010, aplicando un diseño ajeno a la realidad cultural de la etnia Shuar. Con el tiempo esta obra ha influido negativamente en la calidad de la habitabilidad de las viviendas de El Kiim en vista de que fueron tomadas como referentes a la hora de levantar sus propias moradas...

With the purpose of solving the deficit of habitable infrastructure in the community El Kiim, located in the province of Zamora Chinchipe, the Miduvi (Ministry of Urban Development and Housing of Ecuador) built 20 houses in 1996 and another 12 in 2010, applying a design Alien to the cultural reality of the Shuar ethnic group.
