This investigative work has as purpose to know materials and alloys that has an automatic transmission to see if it was possible to manufacture within the country; for this, destruction tests were carried out according to the rules INEN 0109 in which it mentions to carry out destructive tests at room temperature this is to select several parts of the automatic transmission and give it a suitable shape to use as a test piece according to measures established by the norm in which the point of rupture is verified with different pieces and thus determine its resistance to investigate the materials containing this data, as similar as possible to know what type of material was constructed, thanks to this and through the results obtained, it was observed that most of the materials and alloys with which they are made are not in The country and there is no production or industrialization of these materials so it would be impossible to manufacture an automatic transmission and many other parts in Ecuador; In addition if it would be achieved the construction would be too expensive and would not be within reach a person to acquire that element because it would almost have the cost of a vehicle.es_ES
