The present thesis explores an understudied section in Ecuadorian history: the palestinian immigration into this country. From the constructivist perspective of international relations, shall be determined: the chronological context which encouraged this population displacement since the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century, the parallel political and social environment that develops in Ecuador, their journey and the process of acculturation suffered by their families in the national reality. Under these assumptions, will start a detailed analysis of the Ecuador's foreign policy evolution toward the Palestinian case and the way to the legitimate recognition of this nation; in order to clarify if in fact the movement and ideas of this migratory guild had a high impact over the decisions and positions that managed Ecuadorian main state actors, in the global system, on specific areas of power toward the Palestine cause...es_ES
